The Facebook group 'Egyptian Solidarity Group - Melbourne' and Amnesty
International are joining forces with over 10 countries around the world to
hold a global Solidarity Action to pay respect to the martyrs of this
revolution and call attention to the many hundreds of innocently murdered
(like the ten year old boy who was shot twice in the back while running away
from the police at Rafaah in Siani) and the tens of thousands injured and
tortured by the tyrannical regime.
Come dressed in white to show solidarity with the people who were martyred
and injured.
A live link will be made with one of our activists in Egypt during the
Action so that we can get an update.
Photos will also be taken and of our rally and people are encouraged to also
record private video messages on their mobiles and post them to our fb Group
as Amnesty International will be creating tribute walls in protest sites in
Egypt so our picture will show up on a wall in Egypt somewhere.
So come to the State Library on Saturday 12th February 2011 at 2:30pm to
3:30pm. In front of Melbourne Central Train Satiation.
